Rooibos Tea
Rooibos is also called the African Red tea. Unlike the Asian and Chinese teas, it is made out of a local plant, or bush, called Aspalathus linearis.
It is not yet as popular as the traditional tea types, like black, white, red and yellow tea, but because of its well known health characteristics, such as low caffeine, high antioxidants and relaxation and energy source.
Rooibos is well known in South Africa, and it is consumed by adding sugar in it.
Also, espressos, cappuccinos and iced teas are beginning to be prepared in South Africa and other countries.
